The ‘CFB Preview Series’ is an annual production we distribute as a build-up to the season. Each school we cover is given an interview with a super fan of said program where we break down the prior football season, recruiting, roster and schedule predictions. This year we will also be providing written content for a quick-hitting overview of what we expect to see from each team. Breeze, Pump and Unc Shay will collaborate on these to provide Impact Players, Keys to Success, and Record Predictions.

Overview: Year 1 didn’t go as planned for Mario Cristobal but thankfully for him college football coaches can just hit the reset button…or something like that. There are a number of reasons that can be pointed to in explanation of why the team went 5-7 including friction within the staff, injuries to critical players and the growing pains of instituting a new culture. Coach Cristobal took the lumps and has now turned over nearly half of the roster (41 new players were added) and coaching staff (two new coordinators and five position coaches) who are expected to immediately put out a much improved product year-over-year. Let’s see how Year 1 2.0 goes.
